Since 1998, Hyundai Hope on Wheels has been a driving force in the fight against childhood cancer, becoming one of the largest funders of pediatric cancer research in the U.S.A.
Now, for the first time, this life-changing initiative is expanding globally, starting right here in Canada.
Guided by our vision of ”Progress for Humanity,” Hyundai is committed to supporting communities where our team members and customers live and work: and in investing in brighter futures for children and their families across our country.
WHAT?
Hyundai Hope on Wheels is a non-profit organization dedicated to funding research and care for pediatric cancer across Canada and raising awareness for the disease.
WHY?
Everyone is touched by cancer as nearly half of Canadians will develop Cancer in their lifetime. It is the leading cause of death by disease among children in Canada.
HOW
With every Hyundai vehicle sold in Canada, a donation to Hyundai Hope on Wheels is made. Proceeds from vehicles sold in Canada will fund critical research and care across Canada.

Hyundai, along with our 226 dealers across the country, have come together to launch Hyundai Hope on Wheels in Canada with one heartfelt mission: ending childhood cancer for good.
Together, we can make a difference. Every effort, every donation and every portion of a Hyundai vehicle sold brings us closer to a future where no child has to face cancer alone.
Every hand is a beacon of hope.
A handprint is deeply personal and as unique as the child who made it. At Hyundai Hope on Wheels, these handprints tell powerful stories of love, hope and recovery in the fight against childhood cancer.
Whether it’s finishing a round of chemo, watching beautiful new hair grow in or receiving a clean bill of health, each milestone is a reason to celebrate.
That’s why the handprint is our symbol. It represents the unique journey of every child, reminding us of the progress we’ve made and the work still to be done.
At our events, we honour these brave children through our signature “Handprint Ceremony.” Children paint their hands and leave their mark on Hyundai vehicles, which then travel across the country, spreading awareness in a burst of colour and hope.
Together, these handprints are a vibrant reminder that every child’s fight is meaningful and that hope is critical to keep the fight against this disease going.
